With its Polygum and Polygel brands, Polygal AG offers a wide range of natural gums and hydrocolloids, including galactomannans such as locust bean gum, guar gum, tara gum, as well as exudate gums like gum acacia, gum karaya and gum tragacanth. Further Polygal has a germ flour made from the seeds of Ceratonia siliqua in its portfolio. It is a natural ingredient high in vegetable protein, which finds its use especially in gluten free bakery products. All these products are processed by the company in-house at its production facilities in Switzerland and Spain. Thanks to their special properties, Polygum and Polygel products are used in a wide range of formulations in the food industry. Product safety is key for Polygal AG. Our Guar Bean Gum is “made in the EU” in an FSSC 22000 certified factory. Our supply chain is well controlled, and we can 100% exclude any Ethylene Oxide risk or any risks of cross contaminations as e.g. dioxins and pentachlorophenol which had led to mistrust and panic over many years.
