Gelnex has announced the completed expansion of its Peptinex Collagen plant in Brazil to meet the growing global demand for hydrolyzed collagen peptides. The plant’s advanced design also incorporates Gelnex’s continuous improvement in sustainability. Alexandre Assis, Gelnex Global Sales Director told FoodIngredientsFirst: "Our investment in the new collagen plant increased our production capacity by more than 3 times, but most important is that this investment provided an increase in our capability to deliver products specifically tailored to the needs of our customers."
