The US Dairy Export Council (USDEC) showcased how US dairy ingredients can deliver benefits that both food companies and consumers are seeking via innovative prototypes. The aim was to show formulators that with US dairy ingredients, they have the tools to provide consumers with high-quality nutrition without sacrificing taste or their clean label. “Especially in the US, the protein fortified world is a growing one, but we are seeing more growth besides products for sports. So what we have tried to focus on is a couple of different applications that will provide the same high quality proteins, but for other food types and other consumers,” says KJ Burrington at USDEC.
